Three friends reunioning at China Bazar to inherit their property there.MohanLal appears as 'mathukkutti' who really want to become a Don.Jayaram appears as 'Sakriya' who is an inborn fraud.Dileep portraits 'Binoy' who is a drunkard.Suraj Venjaranmudu appears as 'C.V' who pretends to be the local Don.Captain Raju appears as 'Willson Gomas' who owns a casino at china bazar,Goa.
The film is a family full time entertrainer with nice witts of Dileep and Suraj.A sumo from japan has also showed his appearance.Fight scenes are well established.Amaazing background scores and stills.Again a Rafi Meckartin touch is shown throught the movie.
The story begins in 1986, when a dreaded don Gowda (Pradeep Rawat) brutally murders three of the four partners of a casino at China Town in Goa. Years later, Gomez (Captain Raju), who had survived the tragedy, tries to find the sons of his murdered friends to hand over his highflying casino. Of the three, Mathukkutty (Mohanlal) is a local goonda, Zachariah (Jayaram) is in dire straits after the failure of his business and Binoy (Dileep) has gone through several heartbreaks in his love life. There are more characters like the home minister (Bharat Dabholkar), a comic don (Suraj Venjarammoodu) and of course the heroines played Kavya Madhavan, Poonam Bajwa and Dipasha.
The twist in the tale, which takes the story ahead in the second half, has heavily been inspired from the 2009 Hollywood blockbuster The Hangover. The script loses its grip with mix ups, drunken scenes and chaos follow making it hard for the viewer to figure out what’s happening on screen.

Lalettan dancing |
China Town is a light comedy until the interval and after that it takes a serious turn. It appears as if the story has been incorporated just for the sake of it and comedians Suraj Venjaramoodu just so the story doesn't lose momentum.
The film virtually piggybacks on the stars to get the momentum as there is no script to speak of. The duo that was known for their comical writing in the nineties has now reached a stage where they borrow dialogues from email forwards. That's the sorry state of the film.Chinatown a vacational entertainer..!
